It’s simply no holiday season without my favorite confectionery oddity - The Turkey Joint!

Hailing from my mother’s hometown of Rome, NY, Nora’s Candy Shop has been transforming chocolate and nuts into iridescent bone-shaped treats for decades.

But what the hell is it? Is it chocolate or is it candy? Is it sweet or is it actually meat? Although now available in a variety of nut combinations, the 1919 Original Turkey Joint is made with chocolate and Brazil nuts and then coated in a silver candy shell. I guess this makes it both a chocolate and a candy!

Such a quirky fun gift made by a small independent business. They just remind me of the holidays! Merry Christmas 🎄

Ever since these size 8 feet stepped foot in Atlanta they’ve been making love to the dance floors of @mjqofficial! Twenty two years later, and it’s still the same vibe that sparked that love. A dance floor for EVERYONE, no matter where you’re from or how much money you make, you are welcomed. Too many fun Wednesday night Locals Only nights under our belts, too many sore feet Thursday mornings to count.
